Tour Itinerary

Days 1 : Arrival at Cochin

Arrive Cochin airport and our company representative will meet you and take you to the hotel and help in check-in formalities. In the evening attend the traditional “Kathakali Dance Show”. One of the famous dance forms of India where male actors tell a story by wearing facemasks and colorful costumes.

Days 2 : Cochin – Munnar (145 Kms/04 hrs drive)

Morning after breakfast, we take you around the city of cochin for a half day guided tour where you will be shown some important places such as Jewish Synagogue one of the oldest in Asia constructed in year 1568., Dutch Palace originally constructed by Portuguese and later by Dutch, ST. Francis Church, and Chinese Fishing Nets introduced by Chinese travelers in 14th century but still used in these parts of Kerala Afternoon; drive to Munnar, a pleasing journey riding through the picturesque hills jacketed in greenish tea and spice plantations. The resort town of Munnar is famous sprawling tea plantations, pristine valleys, mountains and aroma of spice. Upon arrival; check-in to the hotel and rest of the day free at leisure.

Days 3 : Munnar

Today morning post breakfast, proceed to sightseeing at Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park at Rajamala famous for Nilgiri Thar, Echo Point, Tea Plantations and TATA Tea processing Factory, Kundale Lake, Anayirankal Dam, Lockhart Gap Point etc.

Days 4 : Munnar – Thekkady (Periyar) - (120 Kms / 3Hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive to Periyar. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Periyarwild life reserve one of the best reserves in South India famous for elephants, Bison, tiger and many more animals. This place offers many opportunities for treks and mountain walks Enjoy boating on the Lake Periyar & to explore the sanctuary. There is no better way see the herds of elephants than one the boat cruising on the lake. Evening take spice plantation tour. Here you can feel the aroma of finest spices such as Pepper, Cardamom, Vanilla, Cinnamon and other spices. Also enjoy a short elephant ride.

Days 5 : Thekkady - Kumarakom (135 Kms /3.5Hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive to Kumarakom. another scenic 4 hours drive. An unbelievable beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with white lilies. Kumarakom is famous for bird sanctuary. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Later take a walk inside the sanctuary famous for its birds. Enjoy a sunset cruise, the breathtaking view of the lake during the dusk leaves you spellbound.

Days 6 : Kumarkom - Alleppey (Alappuzha) Houseboat

Morning after breakfast free for independent activities. Afternoon embark houseboat and cruise towards Alleppey through Vembanad Lake. Rest of day free to relax at the Houseboat.

Days 7 : Kochi – Goa ( By Flight)

After breakfasts disembark the boat and drive to Kochi to connect flight to Goa. Goa, one of the finest beach in India and has more fun & frolic than just sand and sea. On arrival check-in to the resort and relax.

Days 8 : Goa

Morning after breakfast the tour starts with Old Goa, which was once the old capital of Goa. Visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus where the incorruptible remains of St. Francis Xavier kept in a silver casket entombed in a marble mausoleum in the Florentine style.
