Tour Itinerary

Days 1 : Arrive Delhi

Arrive at Delhi airport.

As you step out of the airport a traditional welcome awaits you with a fresh flower garland. Later transfer to the hotel. (Normal check in 1500 hrs.)

 

Delhi - Delhi is one of the most important cities of India, as it is the National Capital Territory, which is also the location of the major administrative and legal offices of the country. Delhi is also called heart of India. The city is situated on the banks of river Yamuna, and is the geographical location for many important and popular historical Monuments. A symbol of the country’s rich past and thriving present, Delhi is a city where ancient and modern blend seamlessly together. It is a place that not only touches your pulse but even fastens it to a frenetic speed. Home to millions of dreams, the city takes on unprecedented responsibilities of realizing dreams bringing people closer and inspiring their thoughts.

 

In the afternoon Proceed towards temple Akshardham, a breathtaking architecture appearance and enjoy the show of sound and light. A visit to Akshardham is a spiritually enriching experience. The Akshardham mandir has over two hundred murtis, representing many of the spiritual stalwarts over many millennia. As the sun sets, please take your seat at the traditional step well and experience an eternal show of light & sound that will transport you to the courtyard of the gods.

Days 2 : Delhi

Breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast, proceed toward full day sightseeing of Delhi. Morning tour includes visiting the modern Delhi. Travel through the streets of New Delhi that takes you past the architecture of British India - the imposing President’s House, the North and South Blocks, the government offices, Parliament House and India Gate. Arrive at the Tomb of Humayun – this magnificent structure in red sandstone and white marble is one of the finest examples of the garden tomb, and a precursor to the Taj Mahal. Qutub Minar a 73-meter-tall tower built in the year 1192AD. Visit Lotus Temple which is a Baha’i House of Worship Notable for its flowerlike shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city.

 

Post Lunch explore this bustling part of the old city in the afternoon than on a Cycle rickshaw. Ride through the narrow lanes and experience the daily activities of the merchants, the little food and traditional stalls and the teeming population busy in daily activities. The experience of visiting Old Delhi will mesmerize the participants and give them the flavor of unique blend of old hospitality and modern India.

Days 3 : Delhi – Agra - Delhi

In the morning, get packed breakfast from hotel and leave for the railway station to onboard Gatiman Express train for journey from Delhi to Agra. Here, you will get to experience the Indian railways. (Departure 0810 and arrive Agra at 0950 hrs.)

 

Reach Agra after a 2-hour train journey. Home of the World’s famous ‘Taj Mahal’, Agra provides avid glimpses of Mughal architecture. To be in Agra is like taking a walk-through India's Mughal period history.

 

From the railway station, we will straight proceed to visit Taj Mahal- The grace of perfection of proportions and grandeur of geometrical patterns of well-appointed gardens enhancing the poise of the whole complex together add magnificence to the delicacy of this adorable monument of love, dedication and purity, ‘The Taj’!

 

Continue to visit Agra Fort. This powerful fortress of red sandstone encompasses, within its 2.5-km-long enclosure walls, the imperial city of the Mughal rulers. It is one of the most important and robustly built stronghold of the Mughals, embellished with number of richly decorated buildings encompassing the imposing Mughal style of art and architecture.

Return back to Delhi by train.

Days 4 : Delhi – Jaipur

Breakfast at the hotel.

In time transfer to the airport for flight to Jaipur. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel, for check-in and a quick freshen up. Afternoon visit to City Palace – the royal palace for the Maharaja of Jaipur. The palace houses a great museum and Jantar Mantar – a astronomical observatory built in 1734 AD. It has the world’s largest Sundial. Before returning your hotel; a short stop in front Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) for photo shoot. Evening Cooking Demo and dinner at Mandawa Haveli (a Heritage Hotel). 

Days 5 : Jaipur - Ranthambore

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning Leave for an excursion to Amber Fort – a huge fort complex located on a hilltop.

Enjoy the Elephant ride to ascend the Amber fort. The fort consists of Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas, Sheesh Mahal and Sukh Niwas. Later drive to Ranthambore (3 hrs.). On arrival check in at the hotel.

Days 6 : Ranthambore

Ranthambore National Park is a vast wildlife reserve near the town of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan, northern India.

It is a former royal hunting ground andhome to tigers, leopards and marsh crocodiles. Morning exclusive Safari into the jungle. Lunch at the hotel.

Days 7 : Jaipur – Cochin

Breakfast at the hotel.
In time drive to Jaipur Airport (3 hrs.) to connect flight to Cochin.
Reception upon arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Days 8 : Cochin

Later we take you around the city of cochin for a half day guided tour where you will be shown some important places such as Jewish Synagogue, one of the oldest in Asia constructed in year 1568, Dutch Palace originally constructed by Portuguese and later by Dutch, St. Francis Church, and Chinese Fishing Nets introduced by Chinese travelers in 14th century but still used in these parts of Kerala.

 

In the evening attend the traditional "Kathakali Dance Show". One of the famous dance forms of India where male actors tell a story by wearing facemasks and colorful costumes. Performers communicate emotions and narratives through precise hand gestures (mudras), facial expressions, and body movements, all set to the rhythm of traditional percussion instruments. The vivid face paints and larger-than-life headgear are symbolic, transforming actors into divine and demonic characters. Kathakali continues to captivate audiences worldwide as a unique representation of India's rich cultural heritage.

Days 9 : Cochin-Alleppey

Breakfast at the hotel.

Drive towards the Keralan backwaters, reaching Alleppey and board / embark a houseboat for an overnight stay on the houseboat.

 

The scenic backwaters of Kerala comprise serene stretches of lakes, canals and lagoons located parallel to the coast of the Arabian Sea. The backwater regions of Kerala are one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. The tranquil backwater cruises are a once in a lifetime experience. Alappuzha, known as the 'Venice of the East', is especially popular for its houseboat cruises where you can soak in nature at its finest form. Lunch on board. Kerala Fish and chicken curry are must to try dishes in Kerala.

Enjoy the scenery and drive around in Backwater.

Days 10 : Alleppey–Cochin–out

Post breakfast on board disembark and drive to cochin Airport for onward flight.
