Tour Itinerary

Days 1 : Cochin

Arrive Cochin, you will be received by our representative who will arrange a smooth transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel. Rest and relax for a while before heading for a harbor cruise in the evening.

Days 2 : Cochin

Post breakfast, proceed to visit famous fish and spice market of Cochin. In the afternoon attend the culinary class by an expert chef who will introduce you to the south Indian style of cooking. Try your hands on these dishes while getting the chance to note down some of the exotic recipes of south India.

Days 3 : Cochin - Periyar

Post breakfast, drive to PeriyarThekkady by surface. Upon arrival at Periyar. On arrival, check in to the hotel and after fresh up visit spice market and spice plantations. Here you can feel the aroma of finest spices such as Pepper, Cardamom, Vanilla, Cinnamon and other spices. Also enjoy a short elephant ride. In the evening attend the second cooking class on this tour that will help you learn more about the Indian dishes when cooked with traditional spices.

Days 4 : Periyar

Post breakfast; Morning take a leisurely walk to the Spice Village. Return to attend your cooking class and during the class, the chef gives you hands-on lessons in cooking using fresh indigenous spices. This can be tricky but under the watchful eyes of our mentor, we are sure you will develop the knack of using them in perfect and making for a delicious recipe. You may even try your hand on some of the traditional dishes to be well versed with the style of cooking.

Days 5 : Kumarakom

Post breakfast; drive to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is well known for its bird sanctuary and the habitat of several exotic and migratory bird species. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure.

Days 6 : Kumarakom – Mararikulam

Post breakfast, drive to Mararikulam. On arrival check – in and later explore the mesmerizing Mararikulambeach; the beach is the perfect place that affords a fine range of beach activities. Lounge in the sun, get that enviable tan you always wanted, get exotic massages – the opportunities are endless. For the night.

Days 7 : Mararikulam – Cochin - departure

Post breakfast; drive to Cochin and take half day sightseeing tour. On evening on time transfer to Cochin airport for board a flight to onward journey.
