Day 1 - Guwahati

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport, our company representative meets and assists the guests, and transfers them to the hotel for check-in. Nestled in the banks of Brahmaputra River, the city of Guwahati is renowned for its beauty and serenity. The city also marks the gateway to the North Eastern states of the country.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 - Nameri National Park

Guwahati - Nameri National Park (255 kilometres / 5 hours drive)

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel, after which the guests are driven to Nameri National Park. The park is famous for being home to more than 600 species of flora and animals including tiger, leopard, bison, black bear, sloth bear, barking deer, hog deer, gaur, slow loris, gaplangur, and more. The tranquil Jia Bhoroli river crosses the park.

After arrival, the guests are checked-in to the Eco Camp. The guests can have a leisure time for the rest of the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 - Nameri National Park

A nature walk is arranged for the guests early in the morning. The guests can experience a bird watching tour (assisted by forest guards) in the dense forest of the national park. After lunch, the guests can indulge in a Mild River Rafting in Jia Bharali River as well.

Overnight stay at the Eco Camp.

Day 4 - Bomdila

Nameri - Bomdila (125 kilometres / 4 hours drive)

After an early breakfast in the morning, the guests depart for Bomdila. En-route visit to Bhalukpong - a small town situated in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. Bhalukpong is known for its picturesque beauty, fish angling, and river rafting. Visit to an orchidarium at Tipi on the way to Bomdila. The orchidarium houses about 300 species of orchids (both rare and endangered species) and also has an orchid museum.

The guests are checked-in to the hotel upon arrival. Bomdila is a beautiful town nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. The town offers scintillating views of the snow-capped mountains and serene surroundings. Visit the tranquil Bomdila Monastery and also indulge in shopping handicrafts, wooden carpets, and masks, at the famous Craft Centre.

Day 5 - Tawang

Bomdila-Tawang (180 Kilometres / 6 hours drive)

After the delicious morning breakfast, the guests are driven to Tawang. The first pitstop is at Jaswant Garh, a war memorial situated about 14 kilometres from Sela Pass. Sela Pass is a high-altitude mountain pass in Tawang district, which is at an elevation of about 4170 meters above sea level. According to the legend, Jaswant Singh Rawat, a sepoy of the Indian Army, played a remarkable role in fighting alone against the Chinese soldiers during the Sino-Indian war of 1962. A tribal woman from Monpa is said to have helped the sepoy in healing his wounds and taking care of him. Upon his death, the tribal woman killed herself in an act of loyalty.

Sela Pass offers the guests a glimpse of the Paradise Lake which is beautiful beyond words. After check-in at the hotel, the guests are free to have a leisure time for the rest of the day. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6 - Tawang

After breakfast, the guests are taken on a tour exploring the wonderful town of Tawang. Tawang Monastery, also known as Galden Namgey Lhatse, is the second largest monastery in the world. The monastery is situated at an altitude of about 10,000 ft. The guests are also taken to Urqelling Monastery, the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama, and Craft Centre, where the guests can buy traditional handicraft items, masks, jewellery, and 'chubas' - the local attire.

Situated close by is the Tawang War Memorial, constructed in memory of the soldiers who lost their lives during the 1962 Sino-Indian War. The beautiful Sangestser Lake (or Madhuri Lake) is located about 30 kilometers from Tawang.

Day 7 - Dirang

Tawang - Dirang (138 kilometres / 6 hours drive)

Post breakfast, the guests are driven to Dirang. On the way, the guests visit the Nuranang Falls. Check-in to the hotel after arrival at Dirang.

On the banks of Kameng River lies the small town of Dirang. The guests can visit the Apple Nursery, Yak Research Centre, and the Hot Water Spring.

Day 8 - Bhalukpong

Dirang  - Bhalukpong (140 kilometres / 5 hours drive)

After breakfast, the guests are driven to Bhalukpong where they are checked-in to the tourist lodge. The guests can relax at the lodge for the rest of the day. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9 - Kaziranga

Bhalukpong - Kaziranga National Park (135 kilometres / 2 hours drive)

After breakfast, the guests are taken to visit the famous Kaziranga National Park, a world heritage site which is renowned for housing more than two-thirds of the world's one-horned rhinoceroses. The park is also home to breeding populations of elephants, wild water buffalo, swamp deer, Hoolock Gibbon, Sambar, Indian Muntjac, and more. Varied species of birds including white-fronted goose, ferruginous duck, Blyth's kingfisher, white-bellied heron, Dalmatian pelican, spot-billed pelican, Nordmann's greenshank, and more can be found as well.

After arrival at Kaziranga, the guests are checked-in to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10 - Kaziranga

The guests can enjoy the thrill of elephant safari in the central (Kohora) range of Kaziranga, after which they are taken back to the resort for breakfast. In the afternoon, the guests can savour the authentic cuisine in the Natundenga Karbi village. Post lunch, the guests can enjoy the jeep safari in the western (Bagori) range of Kaziranga. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11 - Shillong

Kaziranga - Shillong (285 kilometres / 5 hours drive)

Shillong is the capital and hill station of Meghalaya. Due to its topography and the beautiful stretch of rolling hills, the place is also referred to as the 'Scotland of the East'. En-route visit to the serene  Barapani (Umiam Lake). Over the years, the lake has become a hub for water sports activities including speed boats, sailboats and water scooters. The guests can also visit the collection of orchids and butterflies at the Nehru Park.

Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.

Day 12 - Cherrapunjee

Shillong - Cherrapunjee (56 kilometres / 1.5 hours drive)

After breakfast, the guests are taken on a full-day excursion to Cherrapunjee. This place offers amazing scenic views of the hilly terrains, valleys, and waterfalls. The fourth longest fall in the world, Nohkalikai falls, is situated in Cherrapunjee. The place is known for being the wettest place on Earth, having a record of 26,461 mm between 1860 and 1861.

The other tourist attractions are Mawsmai Cave, a 250 metres long cave, and Thangkharang Park, where various species of birds and orchids are there. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 13 - Shillong

After breakfast, the guests are taken to visit the Shillong Peak. Elevated at an altitude of 1961 meters (6,4,33 feet), the peak is the highest point in Shillong. Visits to Elephant Falls (one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Meghalaya), Wards Lake, Cathedral of Mary Help of Christian, Shillong Golf Course (known as the "Glen-eagle of the East") are arranged.

Day 14 - Guwahati

Shillong  - Guwahati (95 kilometres / 2 hours drive)

After check-in at the hotel, a city tour is arranged for the guests. The Kamakhya Temple is dedicated to Mother Goddess Kamakhya and is considered as the ancient seat of Tantric and shakti Cults of Hinduism. The temple is visited by thousands of devotees every year, especially for the annual Manasha Puja and Durga Puja. Later, the guests are taken to Shankardev Kalakshetra, a cultural institution comprising of a central museum, library, open-air theatres, emporiums, and places of worship. The Kalakshetra is indeed a place where Assamese culture and history meet.

Day 15 - Guwahati

Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati airport to board the flight to onward journey.
